Any occurrences or incidents that may result in a claim should be reported without any delay by telephone, FAX, e-mail or mail.

General Information

The following information must always be made available when reporting a claim :

• Location where the loss occurred
• Contact name if additional information is required
• Date of Loss
• Type of claim or full pertinent details of loss
• Confirm whether a police report is available and provide the number of the police report

Automobile Claims:

If you are the victim of a Hit and Run Accident, it is an absolute requirement that you report the incident to the police within 24 hours - otherwise Insurers will consider you 100% responsible.

• Name and Permit Number of the Driver
• Year, Mark, Model and serial number of the implicated vehicle
• Name of the Registered Owner of the vehicle
• Any damages inflicted unto a Third Party
• Name, address and telephone number of the Third Party
• Brief description of the occurrence
• Description of the damages and/or Bodily Injury and any steps taken to mitigate the Damages

IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT NEITHER THE NAMED INSURED, NOR A LEGAL REPRESENTATIVE NOR AN EMPLOYEE OF THE INSURED ADMIT TO ANY LIABILITY WHATSOEVER OR ATTEMPT TO SETTLE A CLAIM OR MAKE ANY GUARANTEES TO A THIRD PARTY WITHOUT THE EXPRESS CONSENT OF THE INSURER.
